Our upcoming ChariTable Vienna event on Thursday, March 27, 2025, will raise funds for the SOS-Kinderdorf's "Donations for Children in War"  

 

Your valuable contributions will help to enable life-saving aid measures for kids in conflict zones in Gaza, Israel, Lebanon, or Sudan, those children who are more vulnerable than ever before and their futures in ruins.

This SOS-Kinderdorf's Children's Aid project focuses on Crisis Response and Child Protection in multiple Conflict Zones, especially in the following key areas:

 

1. Emergency Evacuations: Coordinating urgent relocations in high-risk areas including the Gaza Strip, Ukraine, Lebanon, and Sudan, extending support to existing beneficiaries and newly displaced families.

2. Family Reunification: Collaborating with UNICEF and local authorities to protect unaccompanied children and facilitate family reunifications, successfully supporting over 18,000 people, including 9,000 children in Gaza alone.

3. Humanitarian Aid Distribution: Providing essential supplies in crisis areas, including food, water, generators, and necessities, particularly in refugee camps in Sudan and Chad, with additional preparedness measures in Israel.

4. Normalcy Restoration: Establishing child protection zones and educational spaces to maintain a sense of routine and stability for affected children, combining learning with mental health support.

5. Mental Health Support: Implementing comprehensive psychological support programs, including trauma-informed care, stress management training, and specialized support groups across affected regions, particularly on building resilience and coping strategies.

 

It's all about those kids who are increasingly torn from their families, bearing the weight of trauma and danger, desperately needing our help despite the unwavering dedication of humanitarian organizations.​
